You don’t need the latest episode of MIC to tell you where you need to be eating in Chelsea. Here’s 3 of Luxe Bible’s fave SW3 hot spots on the King’s Road.
Ritorno
We’re in love with Milanese hang out Ritorno. London’s ‘first’ authentic Aperitivo Bar and Kitchen on the King’s Road is stunningly beautiful with a marble bar, butterfly backdrop and opulent furnishings courtesy of Milanese designer Ingrid Nardilli
Head Mixologist and former Ritz Head Barman Paolo Viola has created the most beautiful cocktail list imaginable and every drink will transport you to Italy in an instant. Expect all the theatre of a magician with smoke and infusion sprays all part of the show. Choose from the list of Regional Specialities, Bollicine (bubbly), Classics and Specials.
With waiting staff who look like they’ve come straight from their Vogue photoshoots, you’ll be blown away by the 40 chichetti plates there are to choose from, created by Head Chef Filippo Salzano. Go for the classic aubergine melanzane parmigiana (Parmigiana in Crosta Di Pane) complete with pasty style bread crust, or the tender braised beef – Guancia Di Manzo Con Polenta Morbida for a total taste sensation!
For date night when you’re trying to impress, or cocktails with friends when you feel like something special, Ritorno is the place.
World’s End Market
World’s End Market on the King’s Road offers up its unique market concept in a relaxed pub style setting, with seasonal dishes to make the heart sing. Butcher style tiling and an industrial finish have transformed this old tavern into a fancy dining area with an impressive open ‘market’ concept located at the back of the restaurant by the kitchen. This is where you can go and eye up the fresh fish and steaks and pick exactly which one you’d like on your plate.
From salmons, to salads, and scallops to juicy steaks, the menu is plentiful, along with a good cocktail choice and extensive wine list. After dinner, the perfect place to retire to, is the hidden Old Fashioned Bar complete with epic drinks list and all manner of cocktails served in anything from golden pineapples to lanterns and books!
