Valmont’s Hydration range is an absolute miracle for thirsty skin! After the blistering summer we’ve had, my skin has been much dryer, dehydrated and feeling a little more sun blasted than usual. Luxe Bible has discovered an intelligent skincare system that will plump, rejuvenate and get your skin back to its very best.
Having heard wonderful things about the newly launched Valmont Hydration range of products, I was desperate to try. Although this range is slightly more expensive than I’d usually go for, when it comes to your skin, I think it’s important to use only the best, and with Valmont, I knew before I even tried the products that I was in safe hands. After all, how could Coco Chanel’s favourite Swiss clinic produce anything less?!
Valmont Sermulsion
With over 100 years of experience, the new Valmont Hydration line uses only the finest of ingredients – as you might expect. At the forefront of Swiss luxury cellular cosmetics, the new range offers cutting edge skincare products through its Moisturizing Serumulsion (£107), which feels rich and creamy, but when applied, feels much more like a light serum which sits on the skin without heaviness. I found this product didn’t need to be used with anything else, although it will strengthen any beauty routine if you do use it with additional products dues to its expert cocktail of triple DNA. Triple DNA is the jewel in the Valmont crown and developed by Valmont’s laboratories, has the ability to retain up to 10,000 times its weight in water! Surely it doesn’t get any more moisturising than that?!
Valmont’s Moisturizing Booster
As my tan starts to fade, I always find I’m left with patchy, dull skin – probably as its trying to repair itself. The solution? Valmont’s Moisturizing Booster (£104) – a welcome addition to my skincare routine. Providing deep hydration, I felt this gave my skin a new glow immediately after application. Designed to inject moisturising ingredients into the epidermis faster than other boosters, what I loved most about this product was it’s gel-like consistency, so it really feels like it’s doing something wonderful to your skin. I’m also a massive fan of hyaluronic acid which I find reduces my fine lines more than any other active ingredient, due its ability to retain moisture in the skin. A wonder product in my opinion.
Valmont Priming With A Hydrating Fluid
As a busy professional, it’s not always practical to be applying face products throughout the course of a packed out day, which is why I found Valmont’s Priming With A Hydrating Fluid to be probably my favourite product in the range. At £77, this refreshing mist can be applied anytime, anywhere and I found it especially hydrating after being in air conditioned rooms drinking coffee all day! The mist refreshes the skin immediately and feels light and airy – even on top of my make up. The smell is also pure luxury. Seabuckthorn extract’s high natural fruit acid content eliminates surface cells, while Aloe Vera softens the skin.
Valmont Moisturizing With A Cream
For an every day skin cream, Moisturizing With A Cream (£120) is the go-to product from the new Hydration range. Light enough to be used daily as part of your regular skin care routine, yet rich and creamy enough to make it feel likes its doing your skin the world of good every time you use it, you can feel the benefits all day. Again containing the Triple DNA wonder product, this cream also has the ability to strengthen the hydrolipid barrier and membranes, quenching the skin’s thirst with its re-hydrating complex. For irritated, tight, dry skin, I’m yet to have tried anything better on the market.
Valmont Moisturizing With A Mask
And for that once a week luxurious facial treat, Valmont’s Moisturizing With A Mask (£117) is the ultimate rescue remedy. Re-plumping, rejuvenating and giving your skin the boost you’d normally only achieve through a professional facial, this is just perfect for skin which has been over-exposed to the sun. Used once a week, you’ll feel the results immediately.
Valmont’s Hydration range is by far the most advanced system I’ve had the pleasure to use personally… But just don’t take my word for it, Valmont tested their skincare ritual twice daily on 17 women across 21 days and found 100% of clients enjoyed greater skin hydration in three weeks, while after just three hours of application, the skin’s hydration rate reached 180%.
