Avani Palm View Dubai is a relatively new hotel, opening just last year. Having previously stayed at Avani Ibn Battuta pre-lockdown, I was keen to see what this new offering had in store for us.
Situated on the cusp of The Palm, Avani Palm View Dubai enjoys a great location with Dubai Marina and Media City just minutes away by taxi.
Depending on what you’re looking to get out of your stay whilst holidaying in the Emirates, you might be interested in seeing what an incredible amount of space you’d get if you stayed in one of Avani Palm View Dubai’s residence style apartments, rather than a standard hotel room.
For me personally, I have always opted for a hotel room and the amenities that come with that – breakfast, lunch, dinner (depending on what you’ve chosen), a swimming pool, gym, 24 hour concierge and reception…. And amazingly, at Avani Palm View Dubai you do get all that. Just that you also get 113 metres squared of spacious, luxurious accommodation with a view you’ll want to spend hours marvelling at.
With accommodation options ranging from the studio (62-66 sqm) through to the superior three bedroom, we stayed in a superior two bed apartment (113 sqm) which had an incredible amount of space – definitely more than enough room for four adults and two children!
Accessible from two separate lobbies on the ground floor, as well as lifts on opposite sides of the main reception on the first floor, the apartment quite literally oozed luxury from every corner.
With a massive kitchen kitted out with everything you could possibly need, Avani Palm View Dubai’s suite felt like a home from home, if indeed home for you means the most insane views out across The Palm, visible from every angle through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows!
With sofa, dining table, TV and all modern amenities you could ask for (we loved the Nespresso machine for our morning coffees while admiring the view), there were also four bathrooms and a separate laundry room!
With a twin room and a double room both enjoying those incredible views, we felt extremely lucky to wake up and see the ocean and The Palm right there in front of us. Bedrooms by the way, also enjoyed a good amount of space, luxury rainfall showers, complimentary products and more wardrobe space than we could ever fill.
And while Avani Palm View Dubai allows you privacy and self-catering facilities (dinner parties and that view are a great combo), there’s so much more that the hotel offers. Take the 24 hour gym for example, buzzing with early morning workouts and pre-dinner sessions. The hotel’s infinity pool and super comfy loungers. The Seven Seeds all-day dining facilities and The Pantry. We loved our breakfasts in here, feasting on everything from waffles dripping in syrup, to healthy salads and fruits, croissants, piping hot sausages, bacon and eggs and a tonne of delicious looking pastries.
Avani Palm View Dubai has changed my perception of the typical ‘hotel’ and offers the best of both worlds with apartment style living and all the hotel facilities you’d expect from a luxury hotel. A stay at Avani Palm View Dubai costs from AED 599 per room per night (£125) including buffet breakfast at Seven Seeds restaurant. The rate is subject to 22% tax and service charge. They also have a Chic City Half Board Staycation package running right now.
