Friday night is Fish supper night and there’s no better place to get your haddock and chips from than @fenhamfishbar

The steady stream of customers forming an orderly queue outside this legendary chippy just by the Cowgate roundabout is testament to their success – a family run business who’s been serving up suppers for 62 years!

Our jumbo fish was so big it needed to be housed in a pizza box to transport it home, served with all the good stuff – a thick creamy tartare sauce and the best mushy peas – perfect for dipping haggis bites into!

Gigantic battered prawns came with a gorgeous garlic dip, while the haddock itself was absolutely delicious and oh so fresh. No greasy batter here, just a perfect crispy coating and mountains of chips filled with fluffy potato.
