Savage Garden is a seriously sexy beast of a rooftop bar! London’s wildest terrace with incredible views over the capital is hidden away at the top of the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel at Tower Hill. You’ll find it aptly located on Savage Gardens – possibly the coolest sounding street name in the whole of the UK don’t you think?!
Hot foot it up to the 12th floor and there, lying in wait, you’ll find the hottest of bars and the most amazing of views showcasing all the best landmarks from The Shard to Tower Bridge in all its glory.
Need to cool off? No problem, because Savage Garden boasts two terraces – one which is gigantic sized with a retractable roof – making sure you go al fresco all year round.
But this shamelessly edgy destination bar is not just for showing off, ohhh no. Savage Garden’s fierce cocktail list will have you wondering why you’d buy drinks anywhere else. Take the signature Flambard Colada for example (£18), said to be inspired by Ranulf Flambard – the very first prisoner of the Tower of London. This feral concoction of Havana Club 3YO rum, pineapple, cucumber, champagne and wormwood will have you unleashing your fruity side in no time.
Meanwhile, the Horny Beast (£15) – a more-ish combo of Beefeater pink gin, Aluna coconut rum, almond, lime, green strawberry, smoke and oak bitters, apple, and rhubarb and cinnamon soda is the juiciest, punchiest, most mouth-watering glass of deliciousness we’ve ever tasted. Complete with with strawberry, lime and black pepper cracker on the side. Yummm.
Sip on cocktails, while you indulge in a massive Carnivorous sharing board (£80) allowing you to feast on coconut beef short ribs which will literally make you drool, roasted poussin, beef sliders, a mountain of fries and a savage slaw for dipping. Look around you and all you’ll see are the cool crowd, against a back drop of luxurious velvet furnishings, mixed up with graffiti walls, neon signs and that unmistakeable vibrant vibe.
Savage Garden is most definitely BAR-baric. Summer is coming. Book now, here.
