Newcastle Cocktail Week is back! Friday 20th to Sunday 29th March

Newcastle Cocktail Week is back and this time Luxe Bible are proud to be partnering this fantastic event which is taking place from Friday 20th to Sunday 29th March.

Offering flavour twists, exciting locations and mocktail options too, local Geordies and visitors to Newcastle city centre will be able to shake, stir and sip their way through the toon’s biggest Cocktail Week yet.

Returning for the fourth time in two years, Newcastle Cocktail Week has definitely proved a hit with one previous bar serving up 1747 signature cocktails across the week! We certainly are a thirsty bunch!

What is Newcastle Cocktail Week?

This 10 day extravaganza will see several of Newcastle’s city centre bars serving up special signature cocktails from only £5 when you show your wristband to the bar staff.

How Do I Get My Wristband?

It’s super easy, go to the Newcastle Cocktail Week website and purchase your wristband from £9.95 with super early bird, early bird, advance discount and final release options. A booking fee will be applied at checkout and there are also discounts for groups of four or more.

Once you’ve paid, you’ll be sent a barcode to show when you collect your band from Louies Liquor Store, Manahatta, or The Botanist – the exact times for collection are currently TBC.

Once you have your band, you’ll be able to enjoy selected cocktails from only £5 at a brilliant range of bars in Newcastle – some old favourites, some brand new bars and some classic gems which we know you’re going to love.

Named after the eerie Vampire Rabbit statue watching over St Nicholas’ Cathedral for over a century, one of the city’s newest cocktail bars brings flavoursome cocktails and top-notch theming. Comprising of four distinct areas inside to choose from, your hardest decision will be choosing which one is for you. We love the Peacock Room for exquisite, luxurious cocktails and then head to the snug vault rooms for a more intimate aesthetic. The historic vault is a throwback to the building’s old shipping office days.

Just two minutes from legendary St James Park, this bar and steak restaurant is located inside a Grade II listed old co-op department store built in 1932 and brings fantastic live music and casual vibes. If you’re visiting in a large group, grab those long leather seats for maximum comfort and great people watching. Look out for the original clock tower hands positioned on the wall within the entrance and the beautiful art deco windows. They’re also offering 20% off main menu with an event wristband.

This artisan brewpub is a dream for a non-fussy, easy-going drinks session.  Some ales are brewed in-house using their micro brewery and plus food served us all locally sourced. Located right between the stanchions of the The Tyne Bridge this is one gastro pub you don’t want to miss. Described as having a Narnia-eque feel, this pub looks unimposing from outside, but inside you’ll find a cosy library, micro brewery and one of the most stunning roof-top beer garden in Newcastle.
