Set within one of the city’s most vibrant districts, VIE Hotel Bangkok offers a welcome calm to the constant energy of Bangkok. This is a place where you can step away from the noise without ever feeling removed from the action, an elevated retreat that balances contemporary luxury with genuinely warm hospitality.
The location is ideal, within walking distance of some of Bangkok’s most popular shopping malls. For added ease, the hotel also runs a complimentary hourly shuttle service, a thoughtful touch that makes getting around the city feel effortless, particularly useful after a successful shopping trip. Just be sure to reserve your spot in advance.

We stayed in a Deluxe Suite, a 76 square metre sanctuary that immediately impressed. Floor to ceiling windows frame sweeping panoramic views across the city, transforming the skyline into something entirely different from day to night. Inside, the suite strikes a balance between style and comfort, with a separate lounge area and a plush king size bed you’ll sink straight into. The spacious bathroom, complete with both a full size bathtub and walk-in rainfall shower, adds to the sense of relaxation, while dual TVs make it easy to fully settle in and enjoy the space with a Nespresso coffee.

Our room also included Club Privileges, which added another layer to the experience. Each afternoon, the Piano Bar hosts a complimentary selection of drinks and canapés between 3pm and 6pm, an easy ritual to slip into after a day exploring the city.
One of the hotel’s standout features is its rooftop pool, offering a rare sense of calm above the city. Despite being surrounded by Bangkok’s fast pace, the atmosphere here feels unexpectedly peaceful. While there are a limited number of loungers and chairs, we always managed to find a spot to unwind poolside with a book in hand, dipping in to cool off while the city carried on below. The coconut smoothie served here is also worth mentioning, freshly blended, ice cold, and easily one of the best we had during the trip.

Dining at the hotel is equally impressive. At Signature Bangkok, we enjoyed a Michelin starred tasting menu curated by Thierry Drapeau. Known for his “Cuisine of the Soil” philosophy, the menu focuses on delicate herbs, edible flowers, and expressive yet balanced flavours. The experience feels both refined and playful, from tableside butter service to a beautifully executed crêpe Suzette flambé. A standout moment came at the end, cracking open a chocolate dinosaur egg to reveal hidden treats inside, a theatrical and memorable finish.
Breakfast each morning is nothing short of exceptional. The spread includes everything from freshly baked pastries and artisan breads to fine cheeses, cooked to order noodles, and a dedicated egg station. It’s easily one of the most impressive hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced.

We also returned to the Piano Bar for a set menu, where the tuna starter was a highlight. With live piano music, a warm atmosphere, it made for a relaxed yet romantic evening with it’s 1920’s glamorous Art Deco styling.
Wellness is clearly a priority at VIE. We experienced a full body aromatherapy massage in one of the couple’s treatment rooms, starting with the option to choose our own oil and scent. This small detail made the experience feel far more personal. The massage itself was exceptional, genuinely one of the best we’ve ever had, leaving us completely relaxed and ready to face our flight home.
From check in to check out, the service at VIE Hotel Bangkok is consistently attentive without ever feeling overbearing. Stylish, central, and quietly luxurious, it’s an urban sanctuary that delivers not just on design, but on experience. Book your stay here.
