Theo Randall x Jack Stein – One for the Diary

After celebrating two decades at the helm of his restaurant at the Intercontinental Park Lane, Theo Randall will welcome Jack Stein to the kitchen on 15th October. It’s part of his year long series of dinners which has seen him work with other big names in the culinary world. Bringing his passion for sustainable Cornish seafood cuisine, Jack Stein’s collaboration dinner will take place on Friday 6th November priced at £180pp. Make your reservation here.

Kuala Lumpur favourite Stefania has landed in London, bringing fourth-generation chef Diego Reali’s Roman-Italian cooking to Westbourne Grove. Named after Diego’s mother, the restaurant draws on a family culinary legacy dating back to 1958, with traditional Roman dishes, rich ragùs, signature pastas and Josper-grilled meats. The twist? Everything is pork-free, making the menu accessible to a wider crowd while staying true to its Roman roots. It’s also a homecoming of sorts for Diego, who previously worked in London. Mour has launched a new daily brunch menu at its recently opened Marylebone restaurant, blending classic favourites with subtle Mediterranean touches. Expect Turkish eggs with garlic yoghurt and chilli oil, eggs Florentine, avocado toast and eggs Benedict, alongside brioche French toast, American pancakes and Greek yoghurt with homemade granola. Drinks include coconut and vanilla matcha, freshly pressed juices, kombucha and specialty teas. Cordelia’s opens on Clarges Street on 26th August, bringing live-fire cooking and serious steakhouse energy to Mayfair. Led by Head Chef Jordi Sebastianelli, the open kitchen centres around bespoke charcoal grills, with British beef dry-aged in-house alongside heritage breeds including Galician and Finnish Sashi. Highlights include 45-day dry-aged British rib-eye, Galician côte de boeuf and steak tartare, alongside rotisserie chicken, seafood and seasonal vegetables. Expect marble, oxblood interiors, agave cocktails and DJs after dark.

Los Mochis Notting Hill is celebrating London’s canine crowd throughout August with Dog Month, raising money for Silver Fox Dog Rescue. Coinciding with International Dog Day on 26th August, the Tokyo-meets-Tulum restaurant is serving a three-course Doggy Menu for £10, with every penny donated to the charity. Expect pumpkin dog biscuits, chicken liver tacos, a playful ‘Dogviar’ and a pupcake, all gluten, celery and tree nut-free. It’s the perfect excuse to bring your four-legged foodie along after a stroll through Holland Park.

For the first time in the UK, Ibiza’s iconic Cotton Beach Club is bringing its White Isle energy to alto by San Carlo at Selfridges for two rooftop dates, on 29th August and 26th September. Expect a bespoke Mediterranean menu, roaming caviar, Riviera-inspired cocktails and Champagne, with live DJs, saxophonists and percussionists creating full sunset-session vibes above London. The collaboration lands alongside alto’s La Dolce Vita summer concept, transforming the rooftop into an Italian Riviera-inspired escape with elevated dining and effortless glamour.

Free Jazz Festival at St. Katherine Docks

St Katharine Docks is closing out summer with three days of free live jazz over the August Bank Holiday weekend, from 28–30 August. More than 20 artists will take to Marble Quay, including jazz legends Ian Shaw and Esther Bennet, plus international talent Angie Pastor from New York and Mike Harrison from Chicago. Alongside the music, independent food spots including The Pizza Club London, Heavy Slice and &KAFFEIN will be serving up treats, with a full bar on hand. Aki London is giving afternoon tea a Japanese summer makeover in collaboration with Milly Kenny-Ryder. Swapping scones for fluffy Dorayaki pancakes and sandwiches for Japanese sandos, the playful menu features Green Tea Smoked Salmon with Yuzu Curd, Milk Chocolate and Black Sesame Mousse, Pistachio & Raspberry Tart and matcha madeleines to take home. Served on Aki’s terrace or light-filled dining room, it’s £49.50pp, or £70 with Champagne.

Mayfair favourite Cicchetti is leaning into summer with La Piccola Estate, a chic new take on the ‘girl dinner’ trend. Expect leisurely bar-side grazing, cocktails and contemporary cicchetti, from tagliolini with Italian sturgeon caviar and scampi ravioloni to grilled poussin and tuna-dressed peppers.
