There’s a new beach club in town and it’s smack bang in the middle of Jesmond. Dubbed ‘Newcastle’s biggest beer garden’ and absolutely perfect for social distancing, Beach Box Jesmond is bringing summer vibes, street food and even sand, to an open air space situated right next to As You Like It and behind The Holy Hobo.
With free entry, the beach pop up is perfect for a lazy afternoon or evening chilling with friends. Sink into a deck chair and order a cocktail, and you’ll pretty much forget about the madness of the outside world!
With palm trees and wellness zones, a tented area for the chilly North East nights, live music, fire pits and pop up shops, you can also enjoy food from the likes of Hatch76 and Acropolis Street Food.
Beach Box Jesmond offers table service only and booking is advised although they do accept walk ins. Bookings can be made for up to 90 minutes, but if it isn’t full, you’ll probably be good to stay a little bit longer.
Dog and family friendly, and with temperature checks on arrival, staff in facemasks and plenty of sanitiser, you’ll feel super safe too. Tables are well spaced and all food and drinks must be ordered from your server.
Definitely one for your bucket list this Summer, book your table for Beach Box Jesmond here and keep on top of their insta antics here.
