Your adventure begins with @blacksfordRV Rent an RV for the trip of a lifetime from one of their three rental hubs - Phoenix, Bozeman or Las Vegas and theyâll even collect you from the airport. Packed with home comforts, youâll hit the road armed with everything you need to know about your chosen RV thanks to Blacksfordsâ friendly team. Unlike some other RV rental companies, Blacksfords offers free unlimited mileage with no cap, plus towels, fresh linen and bedding, cups, plates, cutlery and utensils, toilet rolls and they even have a pantry where you can grab unused essentials left by other guests to help you on your way. Their luxury fleet ensures every vehicle is modern with low mileage and weâd especially recommend the Winnebago View RV 24D which has 3 double beds, a powerful shower, toilet, microwave, seating area, pop out, TV with Netflix, sink and swivel seats for versatile âon the roadâ living. Our Winnebago took us on an Arizona adventure from Phoenix to Sedona, on to Grand Canyon, Paige and up to Utah before a stop off in Flagstaff on the way back. We stayed in some brilliant RV parks along the way - all with full hook ups, but that wasnât totally necessary as the Winnebago has a 30 amp electric system and dual solar panels. The Mercedes Benz diesel engine was super efficient and at 26ft long, our RV never felt too big to drive, while the space we had was actually quite amazing! There was also so much storage space in the cupboards and drawers, as well as a hanging wardrobe in the bathroom, we knew where everything was and could organise our clothing and hiking gear separately. With ac for the heat in Phoenix and a heating system for the snowy nights in Flagstaff, we were snug at nights, making delicious meals, playing board games, watching TV, listening to music via Bluetooth, and of course planning tomorrowâs new adventure! There are tonnes of street food stalls, but we wanted a nice restaurant away from the crowds where we could relax and enjoy a nice dinner.ââ ââââ After reading the brief but informative synopsis, we decided on @Brownsedinburgh Located on Edinburghâs beautiful George Street, and a good 20 minute walk from Fringe so we could take in the stunning sights of Edinburgh Castle, it was the perfect choice.ââââ ââ Browns brasserie is a beautiful restaurant. Chic, stylish and set over two floors, this relaxing haven was a welcome and tranquil break from the hustle and bustle of Fringe. Starting with an Old Fashioned from the bar, we were already suitably chilled by the time we ordered dinner. We absolutely loved the massive sharer sized baked camembert oozing with hot melted cheese and accompanied by an overflowing bread basket.ââââ Â ââââ Cocktails downed, we ordered a bottle of house wine to come with the mains (the Cutfield & Haworth Red was a lovely juicy, easy drinking South African red for only Â£27.50) along with the Prawn and Devon Crab Linguine and the Pulled Lamb Shepherdâs Pie. I loved the lime, chilli and coriander pesto and the splash of white wine in the sauce which perfectly complimented the crab. The Shepherdâs Pie gorgeous hearty dish bursting with meaty goodness, rich red wine flavour and tender pulled lamb.
