Wimbledon Themed Afternoon Tea at Brown’s Hotel, Mayfair
A feast for all Wimbledon fans, Brown’s is serving up their award winning classic afternoon tea in The English Tea Room, with a twist. Enjoy a choice of 17 teas, warm scones and sandwiches and a glass of rose champagne along with the star of the show – a Pimms jelly topped cucumber cream pastry!
Wimbledon Afternoon Tea at No. Fifty Cheyne
From Monday July 1st at No. Fifty Cheyne, Wimbledon inspired Afternoon Tea will be served in The Drawing Room, UPSTAIRS at FIFTY– curated by Head Chef Iain Smith. With home-made scones, clotted cream and Pimm’s ‘n’ strawberries jam along with smoked salmon, lemon crème fraiche and pickled cucumber open sandwiches, desserts will include a strawberries ‘n’ cream Eton Mess (naturally), and chocolate brownie squares to wash down Earl of Champagne cocktails or a glass of Ruinart blanc de blanc bubbles followed by tea and coffee. With the Wimbledon showing on the Drawing Room’s TV screen from 1pm, you won’t miss a thing! Afternoon Tea is available 2-5pm priced from £25pp.
The Gun Spitalfields Celebrates Wimbledon
Serving up tailored tournament specials against a beautiful backdrop of flowers, The Gun Spitalfields is going all out this Wimbledon season with the ‘Webley at Wimbledon’ cocktail with Bulldog Gin, Tequila Rose strawberry liqueur and Mozart white chocolate vanilla cream, or the ‘Strawberries of All Sorts’ dessert of smoked cream, vanilla, mint and strawberries. The Gun will also be screening the tennis so you don’t miss a thing.
Wimbledon’s Themed Dessert at The Petersham, Richmond
Available from 1st– 14thJuly, The Petersham in Richmond will be serving up tennis themed dessert courtesy of Head Chef Jean-Didier Gouges. The light and refreshing strawberry and elderflower mousse, encased in a hand-crafted white chocolate exterior will only be on offer during Wimbledon, while Afternoon Tea has also been given a twist with a choice of chocolate mousse tennis ball dessert, a mango and passionfruit Eton mess tartlet and a white chocolate truffle with Champagne and dried raspberry. Afternoon Tea is priced at £29.50 Mon-Fri and £32.50 Sat-Sun, with a glass of champagne for £12.75.
Tennis Treats at The Ivy Café, Wimbledon
The Ivy Cafe Wimbledon and Fever-Tree are celebrating both the Queen’s Club’s Fever-Tree Championships and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships this July with treats, cocktails and a themed floral installation.
With a stunning botanical archway display and five bespoke cocktails to be enjoy on the summer terrace, the infamous Centre Court Melting Chocolate Bombe dessert is also available until 14thJuly. Between 1st– 15thJuly at The Little Blue Door Fulham, you’ll be able to get your strawberries and cream fix in the form of frozen rose cocktails inspired by the sporting events’ iconic sweet treat. Tennis fans will also be able to catch the games on the bar’s big screen.
Wimbledon Hospitality at The Lawn with Keith Prowse
How about going all out for this year’s Wimbledon with some serious style?! Hospitality experiences from Keith Prowse at the Lawn start at £700pp for private tables of groups from 2-12. With a delicious a la carte menu designed by Albert Roux OBE, Michel Roux Jnr and Emily Roux, the package also includes Bombay Sapphire cocktails and strawberries and cream.
Wimbledon Pimm’s Sundae at Social Eating House
Cool off this Wimbledon season at Jason Atherton’s Social Eating House in Soho who will be offering up a twist on a classic. The Pimm’s Sundae (£9.50) featuring lemon, mint, cucumber, orange sorbet, strawberry and Pimm’s granita is available until the end of July.
