An Exclusive One Off Event – The Last Dance at 12th Knot at Sea Containers on 15th October
Join Declan McGurk (formerly of The American Bar at The Savoy) as he and a whole host of London’s best known faces in the hospitality sector come together for ‘The Last Dance.’ The ticketed event brought to you by Global Bartending Talent Agency will adhere to the government’s current Covid-19 regulations and will see guests being treated to the team’s signature serves like ‘The Man Who Stopped the Plane to New Orleans’ (made with a Glenfiddich 23YO Grand Cru), and ‘The Bohemian Revolution’ made with Hendrick’s Absinthe. Tickets to the event which will celebrate the extended London Cocktail Week can be purchased here for 12pm, 2.30pm, 5pm and 7.30pm slots with £10 of each tickets being donated to The Drinks Trust.
Homeboy
Homeboy celebrates LCM with two new £6 cocktails to enjoy including the Homeboy ‘Henny Coke’ (Hennessy VS Cognac,Falernum, Port, Luxardo Sangue Morlacco & Cherry Coke) and the ‘Homeboy Irish Coffee Bitters’. There’s also a cheeky champagne cocktail on offer at just £9 – the Moet based ‘Very French 75’. Every Tuesday throughout October, Homeboy will also be hosting bar-takeovers with the industry’s finest bartenders with special serves available on the night.
Swift x Havana Club Brunch New Hot 4 U Brunch at Swift Shoreditch
From Saturday 10th October between 11am – 4pm, Swift Shoreditch will be offering up exclusive brunch sessions every Saturday of the month to showcase Havana Rum’s four Pro Edicion expressions. With a specially created menu and bespoke cocktails on offer, local and seasonal ingredients will be at the heart of the Hot 4 U brunch with celebrated chef duo Matt Scott and Eddy Tejada serving up a new dish each week which will be paired perfectly with Havana Club’s special expressions. Rose Away the Days with Mirabeau en Provence
To celebrate LCM, Mirabeau en Provence’s airstream bar Coco will be open on the North side of Covent Garden so you can enjoy a chilled rosé, or a dry rosé gin cocktail until Sunday 1st November. Be transported to France with the ‘Spritz en Provence’ and the ‘Spiced Pear Collins’ (Thursday – Sunday) along with Mirabeau’s collection of wines – Pure, La Folie and Pret-a-Porter. Meanwhile, Wild by Tart will also be serving up a Mirabeau based cocktail for the month of October with ‘The Harvest Martini’ – a delightful combo of Mirabeau Rosé Gin, Sauternes wine, Lillet Rose and a dash of rose water. Grab your London Cocktail Month wristband and enjoy these gorgeous cocktails for £6 each.
Cocktail slushies from Brewdog Distilling Co
Brewdog are getting in on the LCM action with some luscious slushies throughout October. Try a £6 botanically loaded pina colada with Five Hundred Cuts rum, pineapple juice, Coco Lopez, fresh lime and sugar and grated nutmeg, or a Howlin’ Wolf with LoneWolf cactus and lime gin, orange liqueur, fresh lime and pink peppercorn sugar syrup. Romulo Cafe & Restaurant’s Special Sugarlandia Menu with Don Papa Rum Cocktails
From Friday 9th October – Sunday 15th November, Romulo are serving up a Filipino Sugarlandia extravanganza! With a limited edition three course menu, which at £35pp, offers up treats like lime scented poached prawn kinilaw in coconut cream to start, a pork belly main and a Don Papa Rum ginger glazed pineapple dessert, along with two suitably delicious paired cocktails to go with the menu. ‘Sunshine in Sugarlandia’ and ‘Buko Pandan’ will both tickle the tastebuds, while the special menu commemorates the grandfather of the restaurant’s co-owner – Brigadier General Carlos P. Romulo who on the 20th October 1944, invaded Leyte, marking the end of the Japanese occupation of the Philippines.
Tayer X Bombay Sapphire Workshops & Maker’s Mark Bourbon Masterclass at Tayer + Elementary
Every Tuesday in October, Tayer + Elementary will be hosting special Tayer x Bombay workshops which you can book in for (£15pp per session), by clicking here. Cafe Belsazar at Hicce
Berlin’s premium wine aperitif Belsazar is joining forces with Hicce at Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross so that cocktail lovers can enjoy the Cafe Belsazar experience. The traditional and craft spirit which is from the Baden region includes a red, white, dry and rose in its portfolio, and will showcase them on the menu, inluding the bittersweet ‘Mr Weiss Guy’ made with Belsazar white. Get lost in the Whisky House experience – a unique event being held at Goods Way which will celebrate all things LCM. With events and masterclasses from the world of whisky, bookable slots are available until 31st October.
