What could be better than Martinis and Meringues, together?! Quaglino’s latest pop-up is guaranteed to get your tastebuds going with the sweetest of offerings in collaboration with The Meringue Girls. Celebrating the season of full floral blooms and the Return of D&D London’s Blossom City, the special menu made up of four Martini cocktails created by Head Bartender Davide Arruci, are made with Moët Chandon, Belvedere and Hennessy VSOP, served alongside different flavours of mini meringue kisses – Sour Cherry, Pistachio & Rose, Gin & Tonic and Raspberry.
From the Quaglino’s menu, choose from The Cherry Kiss (Belvedere, gin, parfait d’amour liquor and crème de mure) served with Sour Cherry meringue kiss; The French Kiss (vodka, fresh raspberries, pineapple juice and crème de framboise served straight up) with a raspberry meringue kiss; The Classy Kiss featuring a mix of Hennessy VSOP, bergamot liquor and grapefruit topped with Moët & Chandon champagne, accompanied by a Gin & Tonic meringue kiss; or The Rose Kiss (Mai Tai inspired with Hennessy, rose water, lychee juice, orgeat syrup and lemon juice, served with Pistachio & Rose meringue kiss.
Executive Pastry Chef Jack Smith at Quaglino’s has also created a sensory Dessert Menu available in the mezzanine bar with a deconstructed Lemon Meringue Pie, a Strawberry & Rose Pavlova, Beehive Meringues served on a Honey & Thyme Tart and finally a twist on the classic Peach Melba.
The #Blossomcity17 campaign will once again support The Gynaecological Cancer Fund’s Lady Garden Campaign with £1 from each bill across the D&D group will be donated to the charity.
