With its original opening postponed, Pali Hill in Fitzrovia will be launching just in time for National Curry Week, with an underground cocktail bar called Bandra Bhai in the basement. The large grill in Pali Hill’s open kitchen will take centre stage for its delicious Mumbai inspired dishes which will combine different regional flavours and culinary traditions.
What to Try: Chettinad style veal shin curry with black pepper, fennel and chilli
Splash out with a Michelin Star Curry at Kahani
Michelin starred chef Peter Joseph is giving diners at fine dining Indian restaurant Kahani in Chelsea, 50% off curries every week day during National Curry Week. He’s also created a special curry for the occasion which sounds absolutely amazing.
What to Try: Sri Lankan Blue Crab Curry (available only during National Curry Week)
Try an Award Winning Curry at Namaaste Kitchen
Namaaste Kitchen in Camden is the second critically acclaimed restaurant from award-winning chef-patron Sabbir Karim whose flagship restaurant Salaam Namaaste in Fitzrovia is still going strong after opening a decade ago. With exciting, innovative dishes on the menu, you can expect dishes like king prawn biryani and pistachio chicken korma.
What to Try: Go for the signature Motimahal butter chicken – creamy butter and tomato sauce with ginger and crushed fenugreek.
