@DosaKitchenUK who love disrupting the foodie scene in Newcastle have come up with an epic new idea! 
 
Their new food offering – @2Rowdys.pizza have launched with an outdoor pizza van and heated seating area in their dog-friendly courtyard just behind Osborne Road in Newcastle’s Jesmond, where they’re serving a range of luscious pizzas with a difference. 
 
Pukka Indian Pizzas have a curry base rather than a tomato sauce, so if you’re a curry and a pizza fan, this is most definitely the best of both worlds! 
 
Owner Sud Murugavel explained that these new pizzas are totally different to anything you’ll have tried before and the team have spent months perfecting the sour dough base recipe so that the base is heavy enough to hold the weight of the curry sauce without it dipping, while remaining light and fluffy with an irresistible crust. 
 
Cooked in an Italian style oven in the van in Dosa Kitchen’s courtyard, your pizza will be ready in seconds and served in a takeaway pizza box to be enjoyed in the cosy alfresco area or to take home. 
 
Choose from six different pizzas which include the Delhi Dada with tandoori chicken, red onion, high quality mozzarella and a sprinkling of fresh coriander, all on a tikka masala sauce base, or the Madras Rowdy for those that like to turn up the heat with spicy madras lamb keema with mozzarella, green peppers, red onion, green chilli, fresh coriander and a spicy madras sauce.
