The Manchester club scene has definitely taken a hit during the Coronavirus pandemic, with all clubs remaining closed for the forseeable. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel with brand new concept offering socially distanced clubbing at Puffin Box, Manchester. Dubbed a ‘rave in a box’, the Puffin Box experience gives dance fans access to a cool box space, where up to eight guests from the same social bubble can rave away together safely.
Every Thursday and Friday from 4.15pm – 11pm and every Saturday and Sunday from 12.45pm – 11pm, Puffin Box will be banging out the tunes with 90 minute slots available in the basement of Northern Quarter’s Hilton House.
For eight whole weeks across the summer, ravers will be treated to the best light, sound and music with takeovers from Hit & Run, Kaluki, Funkademia and Joy Social to name just a few.
The five cubed boxes will each contain a fully stocked fridge of pre-ordered drinks packages, sofas, a poseur table and dancefloor space.
Supporting music, hospitality and the events industry, Puffin Box has maximised health and safety with a strict one way system in place for entry and exit with boxes disinfected between sessions. The boxes are only available for up to eight people from the same social bubble.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 22nd July at 9am. See the full line up and get more info, here. Check out Manchester’s new Escape to Freight Island experience, here.
