The iconic British shoe designer brand Terry De Havilland is showcasing legendary moments in fashion history at Fenwick Newcastle, with a display of some of the biggest celebrity shoe designs.
Among the archives, the pop-up will give visitors the chance to see the late great Amy Winehouse’s custom-made TDH shoes, the legendary Tomb Raider boots (with the exact bespoke pair worn in the film), and the original Lily and Margaux platforms.

What’s more, shoppers will also be able to browse the fully stocked Autumn/Winter Collection – think metallics, glitter, animal prints, cowboy boots and platforms, and with every purchase, you’ll get a glass of fizz at Fred’s for free.

Known for his spectacular collaborations, a very special partnership was also revealed at a glitzy event at Gateshead’s BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art where a special-edition Aston-Martin went on display. Designed and painted in the style of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Zap Pow’ mule, the British car brand wowed guests at the 50th celebration:
“This Aston Martin is a true one-off – a fusion of timeless British craftsmanship and our own unique bold British brand and design,” said Darren Spurling, Managing Director at Terry de Havilland. “We are delighted to celebrate with friends on such a special night and thank all our partners for supporting this momentous occasion.”

Proceeds from the spectacular evening went to the official charity partner – Newcastle United Foundation, whose work improves the lives of communities across the North East, meanwhile North East Mayor Kim McGuiness hailed Terry de Havilland as an icon of creativity.
Terry de Havilland first opened Cobblers To The World on King’s Road in 1972. Since then, his creations have become celebrity favourites with Margot Robbie, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie and Kate Moss among his many high profile fans.
