For the second time, AVI-8 have partners with the Royal British Legion to create a commemorative time piece designed to pay tribute to the brave and courageous people who served during the Falklands Conflict 40 years ago.
It’s the second time that AVI-8 have collaborated with the Royal British Legion, having raised a whopping £33,000 since 2021 through the sale of their timepieces. Timing the release of the Flyboy perfectly for Remembrance Sunday, this very special watch has the coordinates of the Falkland Islands stamped at the 6 o’clock, as well as the iconic two petal poppy on the seconds hand – a beautiful detail which makes the Flyboy an incredibly special piece.
With just 1500 made, and with a donation of £10 per watch going to the charity to suppose those who serve, those who have served and their families, the latest AVI-8 includes features that have been inspired by military and aviation in terms of its design.
Powered by a Japanese made ‘meca quartz’, means you get the precision timing of a quartz movement, with the traditional charm and look of a mechanical watch. Cased in stainless steel with unidirectional bezel, double domed mineral lens and 20mm genuine leather strap, the AVI-8 Flyboy is water resistant to 5ATMs and comes in a poppy adorned box.
Available in 7 stunning designs and making a brilliant gift for someone special, you can purchase the limited edition watch now priced at £190.
