From body scrubs to facials, 3 hour long packages and special treatments which change every month, you could pop down to Sammy Anne’s and have a different treatment every time you go! For the month of February, it’s a special Rose Oil based treatment and it is absolutely divine!
Start by breathing in the pure scent of absolute rose oil (in its purest form) with an inhalation bowl under the bed, while enjoying hot mitts on the feet to help soothe and relax the body and mind into the treatment. You’re welcome to unwind with a short guided meditation if you choose.
Then, let your thoughts drift away as you indulge and escape with a 30 minute back massage using Swedish massage techniques and rose oil, using long flowing movements to help increase blood flow and ease any aching muscles.
Next it’s the luxury facial which is 60 minutes and really gives you and your skin time to fully relax. It includes a rose oil massage over the decolletage and neck, before Sammy Anne balm (all their products are made in-house) is massaged all over the face. Then the handmade sugar scrub is applied to the skin to gently exfoliate. Warm water melts the sugar away, before the face is massaged using the rose oil, a gua sha (a traditional Chinese medicine technique which involves scraping the sking with a smooth tool to promote healing, and rose quartz.
While the pink clay and rose oil face mask is left to work its magic, there’s the option of a foot massage or hand and arm massage.
To end the facial, upcircle peptide serum, eye cream, face moisturiser and hot stones are used to help push the products in to the skin.
If you weren’t aware of the benefits of rose, they include anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties and also calm acne while brightening the skin.
