Flavoursome Fine Fast Food at Yolk – NEW
If you’re on the hunt for some egg-cellent food, then look no further than gourmet grab-and-go specialists, Yoke. The fine fast food outlet has recently opened its third location in Soho’s Golden Square where they serve up signature poached egg pots and gourmet sandwiches. Choose from freshly roasted marinated chicken dripping in nduja mayonnaise to an illustrious eggs Benedict of Clarence Court’s finest, drenched in a house-made hollandaise. Sartoria – New Menu
The swanky Italian restaurant Sartoria in Mayfair is launching a new menu showcasing the finest Italian produce. Sartoria is headed by renowned chef, Francesco Mazzi, who is partnering with pioneering urban farm Crate to Plate to grow their very own ingredients using state-of-the-art technology. The menu ranges from homemade tortelli with fresh pesto to the classic lemon basil panna cotta. As befits the Savile Row location, Sartoria is home to a stylish bar by the entrance, which leads through to the stately dining room giving the room a sense of grandeur. Chinese New Year at The Ivy Asia
In honour of China’s most extravagant celebration, The Ivy Asia, St Paul’s is bringing Chinese New Year to the very heart of the capital. Guests can expect to celebrate in style with exquisite festivities, limited-edition cocktails, and an exclusive dessert from Tuesday 1st February to Tuesday 15th March. Some of the new tipples include King of the Mountain made from Wyborowa Vodka, Akashi-Tai Umeshu Plum Sake, raspberries and lime juice, and Tigers Bite which features Grey Goose Vanilla Vodka, honey, elderflower and lime juice, garnished with red chillies. If you’re after something sweet, be sure to try The Tiger, an exclusive dessert featuring an exquisite chocolate mousse brownie with toasted coconut ice cream and topped with mouth-watering chocolate pearls.
Chinese New Year at TING Restaurant
Located in the iconic Shangri-La The Shard, London, TING Restaurant will be offering a special menu for lunch and dinner to celebrate the year of the Tiger. Aromatic duck spring rolls come accompanied with a sweet chilli dressing for starters while the mains are a choice of chicken and abalone fried rice with XO sauce or prawn and abalone Shanghai noodles. For the ultimate three course indulgence, finish with a chocolate and miso bar or raspberry dome for dessert. There’s also a selection of new cocktails or if guests prefer, the usual TING favourites will be available from the menu. The special runs from Tuesday 1st February for ten days and are £38 per main special.
Bar Douro’s Chef’s Series Returns
Occupying a railway arch in London’s buzzing Flat Iron Square, Bar Douro marries Portuguese and Indian cooking for a truly unique dining experience. Starting in February, a series of guest chefs will man the stoves including Kricket’s Will Bowlby, with a five-course tasting menu inspired by his time in Goa. There’s a big focus on seafood and a supplementary Portuguese wine pairing will also be on offer. Tickets for the Bar Douro x Kricket supper club are available through OpenTable here and will cost £60 per person with tables with all proceeds donated to the Apne Aap Women’s Collective, a charity which empowers women and children within Mumbai’s red light district.
National Pizza Day at Crazy Pizza
One of London’s most entertaining and authentic Italian eateries will kick off a week of celebrations on Tuesday 8th February. From incredible wine offers, to free desserts for each pizza purchased, from heart-shaped Nutella Focaccia to Pizza Making classes for kids, Crazy Pizza has an activation for every taste. Both the Marylebone and Knightsbridge venues will be topping off the week of celebrations with a special Valentine’s Day set menu on Monday 14th February. Normally closed on Mondays, Crazy Pizza will be opening its doors and inviting guests to share the love with live music, cheeky cocktails and a special heart-shaped pizza dessert on the menu for one night only. The venues will also be offering special entertainment throughout the night, with singer, Hetty, taking to the stage again at Crazy Pizza Knightsbridge and a lively electric violinist at Crazy Pizza Marylebone.
