Get your chops around tasty Argentinian empanadas at the brand new DE NADAS on Golborne Road, Portobello. These yummy hand-shaped half-moon pastries are stuffed with classic beef, ham and cheese, chorizo, spicy lamb and MDQ – the Argentinian take on the Hawaiian. There’s also a range of veggie options, takeaway options, coffees, wines and vermouths. Hot foot it over there ASAP.
Le Petit Beefbar Weekend Brunch
Le Petit Beefbar have launched a gorgeous new menu available every Saturday and Sunday. Head chef Wiktor Ariburnua has put together a range of gorgeous dishes which include savoury croissant with ribeye ham stracciatella cheese and summer black truffles; English muffins with pulled beef, poached eggs and truffle hollandaise; and delicious cinnamon brioche rolls with a luxurious white chocolate sauce. Disco and Drag at Arcade Food Hall for Pride
The new Arcade Food Hall is now open on Tottenham Court Road and from Friday 1st July to Sunday 3rd July, there’ll be disco, drag, cocktail queens and outrageous jellies! Mighty Hoopla will get the party started on Friday 1st, with a celeb guest DJ booked for Saturday. Arcade’s first ever Bottomless Lunch Party will take on Sunday 3rd, with cocktails including the refreshing watermelon negroni – C.U.N.T (that stands for charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent FYI), and the How’s Your Head? There’ll be plenty of food to soak up the alcohol including Hero Indian Fast Food and Tipan Tapan to name a few.
Ivy Café Wimbledon’s Themed Cocktails and Dessert
Wimbledon will be buzzing until 10th July, so if you’re heading down there, why not stop off at Ivy Café for a refreshing cocktail? The Williams Sisters is a twist on the classic with Pimm’s, Tanqueray 10 Gin, Crème de Peche, lime, mint, cucumber and finished off with Fever-Tree Ginger Ale, while Rafa’s Serve is a heady mix of Tanqueray 10 Gin, Bergamot Liqueur, honey, lemon and The Ivy Champagne. The Centre Court Melting Bombe is always a favourite – oozing with white chocolate and served with fresh strawberries and shortbread. Ivy Café Wimbledon is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Elsewhere for Wimbledon fans, The Cadogan Arms in Chelsea and The George in Fitzrovia will be serving up specials like The Rosewater Fizz and The Wimbledon Cup plus a selection of English fizz; you can enjoy an indulgent Wimbledon themed Afternoon Tea at Royal Lancaster London, and you can take full advantage of the massive free screens in Mayfair’s Brown Hart Gardens while enjoying an Amalfi coast inspired menu, or at Duke of York Square with Strawberries and Screen, a chance to book VIP seating and pre-order picnics from Partridges.
Granary Square Brasserie’s New Summer Menu
Granary Square Brasserie is the perfect place to enjoy gorgeous food with friends and their summer menu is mouthwatering! New seasonal dishes include goat’s cheese and courgette tart with artichoke tapenade; pan fried salmon fillet with asparagus spears, courgette ribbons and toasted pinenuts; and almond and blueberry panna cotta for dessert. We can’t wait to try the monkfish and prawn curry served with fluffy jasmine rice, while new cocktails include the Bloodflower Margarita which comes with a twist on the classic. GŎNG at Shangri-La The Shard’s has teamed up with Latin American spirit brands Diplomático Rum and Canaïma Gin for a Tropical Oasis high in the clouds! The lush Amazon inspired vibes continue throughout the bar and into the Sky Pool area where guests can enjoy a range of gorgeous new cocktails. Tour de Rosé at Balthazar
Tour de Rosé at Balthazar is right up our street! To celebrate Tour de France and running until Friday 24th July, guests can now enjoy a limited edition interactive rose menu with Balthazar’s delightful menu, along with a special dessert. With Whispering Angel (Chateau d’Esclans from Provence) to Moët & Chandon Rosé NV Champagne, celebrate a summer of sport in style with beautiful French wines and the Paris Brest – caramel and praline whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, dark choc sauce with hazelnut praline and gold flakes on top. Savour London Food Festival
Taking place on the 30th and 31st July at the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea, there’ll be a weekend of food, drink and entertainment on offer including stages, chef masterclasses, workshops, a picnic lawn and Bloody Mary buses! With a £3 signature dish on offer (specially created by Savour’s chefs), you’ll be able to feast on food from Frenchie, Polpo, Sumosan Twiga and Chicken George.
