For one of London’s most picturesque summer dining spots, Gaucho Richmond’s riverside terrace is hard to beat. Set beside Richmond Bridge on the banks of the Thames, it offers uninterrupted water views, signature steaks and expertly crafted cocktails. This summer, a partnership with St-Germain brings refreshing spritzes, live music and laid-back al fresco dining, making it the perfect setting for long lunches and sunset drinks.

Chelsea seafood favourite The Sea, The Sea has expanded with a beautiful new bistro on Pavilion Road. Opposite its original site, the 40-cover restaurant features a large terrace, seafood bar and expanded fishmongers showcasing the freshest catches from Cornwall and Scotland. Feast on small plates like cuttlefish ragu, salsify and green almond or Palourde clams, spring greens and tarragon. Larger dishes come from the grill featuring the likes of Silver mullet, emmer, mussels and sharing dishes of whole plaice, wild garlic caper and pickled dulse. Expect expertly prepared seafood, relaxed outdoor dining and an intimate evening atmosphere in one of Chelsea’s most exciting new openings.

Dorian

Michelin-starred Dorian continues to be one of London’s most sought-after dining destinations. Its intimate 15-seat terrace offers a rare opportunity to enjoy cocktails, snacks and signature dishes without securing a table inside. New summer cocktails, created with Goya Tequila, draw inspiration from seasonal produce and retro California drinking culture, making this one of Notting Hill’s hottest outdoor spots. To celebrate 25 years of pioneering Indian dining, Executive Chef Vivek Singh is hosting a special summer supper club at Cinnamon Kitchen City on 13th June. Held within the former East India Company spice warehouse, guests can enjoy a nine-course sharing feast focused on tandoor and grill cooking, featuring seasonal British produce and signature dishes, all served beside Devonshire Square’s atmospheric terrace. Soho favourite Kapara has transformed its terrace into the retro-glam Sun Club, inspired by the playful spirit of Palm Beach. Expect bold stripes, swaying palms, flowing rosé and vibrant Eastern Mediterranean dishes from Executive Chef Eran Tibi. With sunshine-friendly wines, inventive cocktails and an electric atmosphere, it’s set to become one of Soho’s standout summer destinations this year.

Vagabond Wines opens its largest venue yet this June, bringing its popular self-pour wine experience to Soho’s Ganton Street. Spanning two floors and a terrace, the venue offers more than 120 wines by the glass, including bottles produced at its Canada Water urban winery. To celebrate, guests can enjoy 50% off food and drink all day on 24th June.

The Blues Kitchen

Football fans can catch England’s World Cup matches this summer at The Blues Kitchen’s Camden, Shoreditch and Brixton venues. The French Riviera arrives in Canary Wharf this summer as Bōkan partners with Citadelle Gin transforming its rooftop terrace into a Côte d’Azur-inspired escape. Expect panoramic city views, stylish Mediterranean décor and a cocktail menu featuring French-inspired creations alongside sharing plates and seasonal dishes. It’s the perfect setting for golden-hour drinks and long summer evenings above the city.

Enjoy Outdoor Terrace Vibes at Ukai

Notting Hill favourite Ukai has unveiled a new outdoor terrace just in time for summer. Located moments from Portobello Market, the space offers relaxed all-day dining with Japanese-inspired cocktails, premium whiskies and standout dishes including lobster tempura, pork belly bao and terrace-exclusive seabass carpaccio. Open daily until October, it’s an ideal spot for leisurely afternoons and warm summer evenings.
